We bought this from Amazon, according to research other models. DeLonghi will have a good reputation for quality products and Amazon to a reputable dealer. When our box arrived, the box was damaged. No straps to the pack, as they should have in writing on the box. Upon opening the box we have found that one side of the device was not completely closed, as if someone tries to open the panel on the device. One of the wheels was broken, and we missed the window latch. All other items were there. As requested, we may have the unit sit for 24 hours before, because we sure that the unit was on their side during transport to us. We followed the instructions in the configuration map and easily connected to the controller and connected to the exhaust fan and connected the device to the appropriate unit is the one thing rolls on wheels that was a plus for us but since a of our wheels was broken, it was a bit 'difficult to roll. Very easy to configure. Once the unit is on the way and we had A / C running you could feel the air 10 meters. I'm not sure why a previous poster said he / she could not smell the air as fresh as ours has been more than enough, using the low speed setting. The remote control supplied with the unit is very convenient. One problem we found was that once you put the batteries in the remote, you must set the time on it right away. There is a function to reset the time, unless you remove the batteries and put them back again. Just a fad, not a big deal. In 30 minutes you can already feel the freshness in our house. We have checked the drain to see if it worked properly and was the noise level is non-invasive and actually quieter than most portable air conditioners that are not included in Windows. Edwards, I bought this unit five days ago. not cold at all in my room, the air is cold, but you feel when you're standing right in front of it and when you step about 3 feet away you don, t feel anything. my room is only 12 by 24 ft is said to be possible up to 400Ft room. Beatty, in the first place, when the product became part of the accessories needed to ventilate the unit was missing. The problem was easy to manage calls to Longhi, unless they are transported to spare, they were the wrong drive. The hole that fit the exhaust was too small. As most who I needed was an extension, I went into the existing exhaust system to find only part that made some too wide for my window. Even if you have a new tip from the windows like me, the parts are too wide to fit between the window and tip-out guard. After some jury-rigging with a Sawzall, we finally have working parts. As for the device itself, not the air run, just blow up. I also know that heat rises, so the device in a very good job of keeping even a small space to do cool.
