I followed instructions to tighten the screws with a strength and very little stripped the hole before the screw is still tight. The plastic that fits in the window is sweet. The part that connects the hose to the window, and do not connect due to the same question with respect, we fell in the middle of the night. I saw the window kits exactly the same on other brands of portable air conditioners so that it may be that only one company makes the kit box and sell them to different airlines to buy another brand does not do much good. Is there a work around, Tho. The enterprising couple can cut a piece of wood on the right dimensions to their windows, weather strip fit at the edges, and cut a hole in the air vent from the unit - it has a fitting on the end that attaches via four screws another work - round (which we probably will) to the screws with nuts and bolts to replace, so they do not fall out during use. Other than that the unit works fine. It weighs about 70 pounds, not too heavy compared to some. We used it in a room that was larger than we had, just to try and cool the room well. Most of the moisture has evaporated and sent through the window, but there is a drawer that needs to be emptied occasionally. Unfortunately it is not a pull and dump type, but has a little plug about an inch from the floor to empty the water out, so I think you should drag to the shower to drain. Savage Ok, the hardware so far in this very nice and very good value for what I paid for it. The big problem is the installation guide. This stuff you can not say enough information to help you at all unreasonable to progress you by disconnecting lines bend only liquid and gas pipes, peeling of the internal unit to find out what the instructions say not. That it all together again, stuck inside the unit back to you then find the next thing to say the phrases you need to repeat the process. It should have taken me to install only a few hours but it took me all weekend. Klimaire must step on guide. But until then let me tell you, to help my installation steps to help you, however. 1st Unpack everything (of course) 2 Remove the metal plate fixation of suspension as the rear of the indoor unit and find that you want to hang the indoor unit (instructions that tell you about the restrictions on) 3. With a spirit level or the electronic or application installed on the phone, the level of the metal hook and mark where you want to go to the screws. Trying to get at least one stud, the rest of the screws, use drywall screws. I think mine are rated for 50 pounds. 4. Savage is Ok, the material in this point so far very nice and very good value for what I paid for it. The big problem is the installation guide. This thing you can not say enough information so that you constantly with over-all progress you have to pay line, just bend the liquid and gas pipes, peeling of the internal unit to determine, say, not what the instructions. Put everything back together, hung in the backup device and then find the next thing in the instructions not to talk, then repeat the process. He should have taken me to install a couple of hours, but took me all weekend. Klimaire must step in the instructions. But until then, let me explain my setup steps to help you. 1st Unpack everything (of course) 2 Remove the metal plate hangers from the rear of the indoor unit and find where you hang the indoor unit (instructions will tell you about the location restrictions) 3 wishes. With a height of bubble display, or electronic or any application on your phone, the level of the metal bracket and mark where you will install your screws go. Try and use at least one bolt hit the rest of the screws, drywall screws. I think that will be assessed for 50 pounds. 4th Go inside the device and hang it on the mounting plate hangers will not lower it into the hook, because as a metal plate bent at a 90 degree angle must be there to release the snap. 5th Use a pencil and an overview of the lower right corner of the indoor unit. I can tell you how it really works. As with most of the units of heat pump type, which has no heat during the day and very cold night, but generally does a good job in my wood shop. Note that you really need to keep clean the filters when used in a powder envoironment. The cooling worked very well ... building is a 24x24 with 13 'ceilings. He had no problems when it was hot outside to 95 degrees. The only problem with the installation instructions that something is missing. You can not do yourself, you need a vaccuum pump vaccuum INDIVIDUAL plumbing lines at creation. In addition, electrical connections buried inside the unit ... expained not clear in the manual. By calling the company at the reception I was told that on the remote share, it would be $ 45 for a universal remote and $ 65 for shipping the original remote, plus costs $ 15. Remotes do not seem to a size of quality / price at which in my humble opinion corresponds. I was told, remote controls are not covered by the warranty. The devices all come with a remote control. Product description says sizes up to 1672 square feet cool environment that is not true at all! I have 20x20 room 'and this device is not working properly. It makes the room cooler, but not enough cool. I would expect more than 25,000 BTU and before I was 10 years old as the 22,000 BTU unit and see no differences. As soon as something is wrong. On warm sunny days you will sweat. I would not recommend it to anyone. Not very good if you need your room / house cool, unless it's a small room. All 1 reviews ...

Soleus support line is always busy, and when you do get someone, looking for an answer and never called back. My front panel to control the device does not work, soleus, and I tried to replace the panel with no luck. Should I use the remote to use the A / C. Almost two years of service, and the unit started leaking water. It seems that the exhaust pipe to the unit is not positioned far enough back, and so the pot of water flowing just outside the unit, just on the ground. You can pay to repair the unit and returned they said, but the minimum cost is $ 150 plus shipping. Do not waste your money! 5 of 5 people found this review helpful. JP I did extensive research before buying my portable air conditioners. Thanks to some reviewers, I learned that having a double pipe is the key, like a double pressure inside a pipe and instead could create problems in the future (AC pulls in outside air and releases air from the room is a double process - get a double-pipe). So I tried to act as a pipe condition and the only one I found on Amazon was Soleus 13,000 BTU. Although the room I needed a relatively small bedroom was, I went to this article. And I'm so glad I did! The machine is very big, huge really, and very heavy, but quite good, with a great design. Packaging was great and thick, and a long journey to where I am. The side panels were slightly damaged in shipping and I hoped that there would be no problem as long as not a problem. There's nothing portable about it. In addition to its great weight, when you install the window kit, the last thing you want to keep moving around and jeopardize a good setup. I have not received any of the accessories, the sliding panel, and an instructional DVD and manual showed that it was necessary to install air conditioning in my window, but we have discovered at the end with what we had. My window is a horizontal sliding windows. I adapted two of the panels were (with two exhaust openings and a tube without vents) at one end of the window, punch the two to cover the entire vertical length. After we finished we realized the cable was bad. I called Frigidaire and then weave my way through their menu structure and talking to four members told me I could buy a replacement cable. My only option was to drive off the wall to take, so the hole, and going back to Amazon for replacement. I think I buy a replacement cable on the spot. Needless to say, I disappointed. We bought this from Amazon, according to research other models. DeLonghi will have a good reputation for quality products and Amazon to a reputable dealer. When our box arrived, the box was damaged. No straps to the pack, as they should have in writing on the box. Upon opening the box we have found that one side of the device was not completely closed, as if someone tries to open the panel on the device. One of the wheels was broken, and we missed the window latch. All other items were there. As requested, we may have the unit sit for 24 hours before, because we sure that the unit was on their side during transport to us. We followed the instructions in the configuration map and easily connected to the controller and connected to the exhaust fan and connected the device to the appropriate unit is the one thing rolls on wheels that was a plus for us but since a of our wheels was broken, it was a bit 'difficult to roll. Very easy to configure. Once the unit is on the way and we had A / C running you could feel the air 10 meters. As most who I needed was an extension, I went into the existing exhaust system to find only part that made some too wide for my window. Even if you have a new tip from the windows like me, the parts are too wide to fit between the window and tip-out guard. After some jury-rigging with a Sawzall, we finally have working parts. As for the device itself, not the air run, just blow up. I also know that heat rises, so the device in a very good job of keeping even a small space to do cool. A very cool ride, can hardly hear the compressor kicking on. Perfect for the bedroom .... 12x14. The sound is less than a box fan. I leave it running 24 / 7 and surprisingly no effect on the energy bill a lot, seems to be really effective. I had to tilt the device to adjust after the initial installation due to a sloshing sound from the fan on the back. This was because the fan sloshing water. The unit should be nice and level. The buttons on the front are easy to clean, and the remote in the same way with its flat design. The filter is clean and with no effort. The device is not a breath of fresh air / circulating switch some of the bigger models. Large amounts of fluid, it pulls out of the room, I think it's just circulating.
