One of the best portable AC, not perfect by Davey Williams Soleus LX-140 is actually the third Laptop AC that we had in the household. Faust has a decree Hampton Bay model worked and still works in a second room. The next was the Sunpentown WA-1010E, terrible, could not cool the room about 4 degrees, and broke after a year. The soleus. The most important thing in a portable AC is of course the cooling capacity and the soleus is the height of his debts to one of the most powerful units available. At 14,000 BTU, it was able to heat my 150 square foot room up to 70 degrees at night and sweltering summer days, when it is in the top 90 for-get, they can set the temperature to fall by 15 to 20 degrees when We decided, completely out of the sunlight and allow the unit to high runnign. This may not seem like a huge drop, but it's the best we can expect from a portable device. It 'also able to cool our suite of 300 square meters, although tops out at about 15 degrees lower than when it is hot and sunny unlike many other portable AC we have seen and used, do not produce a steady stream of very cold air, and while it is highly Huger and more expensive than window units, the rivals in the cooling capacity. Features - The unit has three fan speeds on all parameters and includes a dehumidifier and heating, as well as AC and a fan. There are temperature control, main unit that allows you to select anywhere between 61 and 95 degrees, which is a nice feature since some countries only laptops to run and run until you're freezing in the middle of the night. If you set the soleus at 71 degrees, will be implemented in AC mode until the room cools, then goes into fan mode until the room warms up again. This is a nice feature that all phones have AC. There is a timer that can be accessed from the device, and you can rotate the device for a certain number of hours remote See below for information about "times" timer. It is not the quietest unit in the world, but most of the noise is a result of the air pushed through the device instead of irritating refrigerator noise you get from certain. Light sleepers may not like it, but it drowns out the loud neighbors are fairly non-offensive white noise. It can also allow for better circulation functions. It is a "swing" mode on the remote control that allows the valve rotates in a direction up and down, but it does not move sideways and up and down is not so great. Exhaust systems and drainage - The unit comes with two 6 meters of plastic tubing sticking out of a window, so the warm air outlet. The method of dual hose is supposed to make the unit work much better, and between the two hoses and high-power unit that is working better than any other unit we've seen the hoses are a little wider and heavier and could is being isolated, but do the job. While the manufacturer states that the unit is not usually necessary to drain, I think his stats a bit optimistic. Although not necessary that the flight when I'm using it at night the temperature drops 80-70, is very hot and humid, the water tank is full and needs to be emptied every two days. Unfortunately, a major design flaw is that there is no automatic closing of the unit. As the light of the "drainage unit" lights on a lot of time if you ignore it for more than a couple of hours the water will start to seep through the bottom of the unit and just keeps running. I did this once during the night and wake up about a gallon of watter puddling on the floor of hardwood with all the power lines are - not the safest van situations The second design flaw is that the leak in the back much less than unit. If you down, just very shallow pan can.
